Growth For Life
Inspiration . . .
I (Rebecca) am in the process of launching a business called Growth for Life. The business concept was inspired by the birth of my first daughter, Lilian. My little one had died in the womb and so was born at just 20 weeks old. Though I did not get to know Lilian in this world, I have learned a lot about the value of life from that experience. I had the privilege of holding my baby girl-a precious premature child, and, after bringing forth 3 healthy children since then, I have seen that, even at 20 weeks, Lilian looked just like her newborn, full-term siblings! All her parts were fully formed, uniquely recognizable and beautiful! Having witnessed this, I am convinced that more women need to be aware of the beauty and preciousness of their unborn children, especially in a culture that teaches that the life of a child does not begin until birth.
Vision . . .
The vision of Growth for Life is that, through the sale of various gift products, it would contribute to the education and assistance of women in unexpected pregnancies; women who may not know what beauty lies within them, so that many more tiny, precious ones may live to see the light of day.
Each beautifully crafted product is designed to bring awareness to the wonder and gift of life for all our children. They will be used to help support life for the unborn through educational information supplied directly on each product along with the donation of profits to select pro-life organizations. Though not for profit, each product is designed to profit us all and will embody the inspiration behind the company.

Swaddling Blankets
Swaddling is not only an age-old practice, but recent medical studies actually endorse it as a way to help babies sleep well and, more importantly, reduce the risk of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). Proper swaddling restricts baby's movements and has been shown to reduce arousal (the tendency for newborns to startle themselves awake), increase REM sleep and is widely used in hospitals to settle and soothe irritable infants.
